Description

Dimetomorph is a local systemic fungicide with good contact and antisporulant activity, penetrates quickly to the tissue and translocates to the edge of the leaves. It controls the mildew in leaves and stem. The dimetomorph is specific for the control of oomycetes, especially Peronosporaceae and Phytophthora sp., But does not control Pythium sp. Stops all growth that requires synthesis of cell wall to cause cell lysis according to the dose, stops the growth of hyphae in germination, the development of sporangia, appressoria, sporangioforos and oospores, except the formation of oospores. Dimetomorph affects all known breeds of Phytophthora and others.
Mancozeb is used for contact control, protective, of a wide range of diseases in field crops, fruit, nuts, vegetables, ornamentals and others.
